This weekend we have some great events taking place across the constituency.
Saturday – Wild at Heart’s 4th Birthday Celebrations – Railway Terrace, Chorlton.
A great event this Saturday to celebrate Wild at Heart’s 4th Birthday!
The Deli will be putting on a traditional Moroccan BBQ where you can sample some of their fabulous food and drink. There will also be the chance to experience an Indian Head Massage! (This can be pre-booked in advance.)
Great fun for all, starting at 10am – 4pm.
Saturday – Louis Paulhan Family Fun Day Event – Fog Lane Park, Burnage.
This is a fantastic, fun day for all the family. The event will be held this Saturday at 11am – 4pm in Fog Lane Park to celebrate the centenary of the Louis Paulhan flight from London to Manchester in April 1910.
There will be a brass band, circus, and climbing wall, plus lots of stalls and refreshments!
Saturday – Summer Fair – Oswald Road Primary School, Chorlton.
Another fun event for all this Saturday at Oswald Primary School.
The summer fair will be host to a number of stalls as well as a car-boot sale, bouncy castles, games, performances, and the chance to win prizes on the tombola. The fun will start at 11pm – 2pm!
Saturday – Summer Fair – Chorlton C of E Primary School, Chorlton.
Chorlton Church of England Primary School will be hosting its annual summer fair this Saturday from 12pm – 3pm. This is another great event for all the family where there will be stalls, games and lots of refreshments!
Sunday – Didsbury and South Manchester Car Show – Didsbury Park.
This event is held in aid of Music-In Hospitals. This event is always really well attended and brilliantly organised. There will be around 50-60 cars on display; the theme being ‘cars with character,’ so you can expect to see some interesting and varied vehicles! There will also be prizes for the three best cars in the show. Entry to the show is free to everybody and runs from 12pm-5pm!
Sunday – Music from Stretford Brass Band – Longford Park.
From 2pm – 4pm there will be a picnic in the art deco shelters of the Longford Park Rose garden with music from Stretford Brass Band. The Friends of Longford Park have previously held many successful nights and have helped in the creation of a wildlife garden. Refreshments will be available and other activities such as bowls sessions are planned!
