Coalition government backs new housing project

I was delighted to hear last week that the Housing and Communities Agency (HCA) and Association of Greater Manchester Authorities (AGMA) had committed £25.3mn for new housing projects across Manchester. This investment by the coalition Government will deliver 670 new homes and also create a large number of much-needed local jobs.

  1. This is great news for Manchester!!!!

I was a little dubious of the coalition when it came power, but It is growing on me. The money seems to be spent rationally, with one eye on the future rather than just kamikaze spending when realistically the country cannot afford it.

Lets just hope we get more of this investment coming to Manchester in the coming months and years ahead…
