Movember Day 16 Old Bedians Mo’s

Last night I visited Old Bedians Rugby Club in Didsbury to see how their Mo’s were getting on.

A number of the Old Bedians players have joined the Manchester Mo’s team for Movember and are growing very well in fact a lot better than mine!  I was particular impressed with Pat Doherty who had joined a week late but had an extremely impressive Mo!  Don’t forget it is all raising money and awareness for prostate cancer, the most common cancer amongst men.

You can donate to the cause using a credit card or PayPal account by clicking on the link here:

Old Bedians are having a judging competition for the Mo’s on Saturday 27th November which also coincides with two mouthwatering rugby games at Millgate Lane, Didsbury.
The first XV are playing Old Bedians “old boys” a selection of players who played for Old Bedians over the years and the seconds are taking on their Didsbury rivals Toc H in the league.  The Old Boys game is kicking off at 12 noon and the Didsbury derby at 1pm.

  1. Great picture John! Cool moustache :o)
And I’ve resorted to making donation payment by credit card – I never like feeding card details via the web but I’ve chanced it! Here’s to the charity having much success in the battle against prostate cancer.

  2. Maybe now you’ve grown a moustache, you and your Lib Dem colleagues can start thinking about growing some balls as part of this coalition government.
