CavFest is one day family-friendly festival in the heart of the M20 and has a brilliant line-up.
The acts confirmed so far are: Badly Drawn Boy, James (three band members and guest singers), Tom Hingley (of The Fall and Inspiral Carpets fame) and The Lovers, DayStar, The Suns, The Gypsies of Bohemia and superb poet and compere Mike Garry.
Alongside the live music there will be lots of actitvites for all the family including:
Children’s Marquee with fun activities | Kids’ Yoga | Samba Dancing | Face Painting | Storytelling | Circus-Skills | Catwalk Fashion Show, | Street Dance Workshop which much more yet to be announced.
As a governor at Cavendish I know how much work everyone at the school has put into this festival and I am sure it will be a huge success and the first of many.
It takes place at Cavendish Primary School, West Didsburyon September 17th from 12 noon til midnight.
Advanced tickets for adults start at £15 and £5 for teens and children £2.50 any keen infants can get in for a penny! All profits go towards Cavendish Primary School.
