The Great Debate Continues

Following on from Nick Clegg’s success in the first of the leaders’ debates in Manchester on Thursday, the campaign team here in Manchester Withington are eagerly awaiting the next installment.

This time Nick will join Cameron and Brown to discuss Foreign Affairs, in a debate to be broadcast by Sky News.

We’re all very encouraged by Nick’s excellent performance last week, and wish him all the best for his next appearance.

His commitment to making Britain a fairer place for all clearly shone through in the first debate, and I hope voters in Manchester Withington and elsewhere in the country will continue to see tonight that Nick, and Lib Dems everywhere, are determined to level out the playing field.

You can watch the debate on Sky News on digital channel 501, Virgin Media channel 602 and Freeview channel 82, and online at skynews.com Live Video Streaming from 8pm until 9.30pm tonight.

We are also showing the debate live from the office whilst having a clerical party, the video at the top of the page contains footage from the debate party we had during the first leaders debate last week. It would be great if you could make it down.
The office address is 8 Gawsworth Avenue, Didsbury, M20 5NF, you can ring one of my team on 0161 249 5036 for more info.

I have my own debate to attend tonight, there is a husting’s for the Manchester Withington parliamentary candidates that is being run by unlock democracy at Hough End Hall, Mauldeth Road West, Chorlton. Doors are open at 7pm with the debate starting at 7.30pm entry is free and the debate is being chaired by former BBC political editor Jim Hancock.

The south Manchester Reporter are also covering the debate live on their website click here for the link.

I’m hoping to catch Newsnight after the unlock democracy debate down at the office so I hope to see you this evening.
